County senior star, Paddy McKeever was a special guest at the Maghery GFC dinner/dance last Friday night and made a number of presentations on the night.
County Board Chairman Joe Jordan presented the Atty Hearty Cup to the captain of the winning intermediate championship side, Eamon Toye.

A minutes silence was observed for the club’s President Daniel Fox, who had died earlier in the day. He gave many years of outstanding service to the club, and he will be sadly missed.

MAGHERY GFC ANNUAL DINNER DANCE
Thanks to everyone who supported the club Dinner Dance last Friday night and helped to make the occasion such a success. The club took this opportunity to award the Senior Team with medals to mark their win in the Intermediate Championship, presented by County Chairman Joe Jordan and the legendary Micheál O’Muircheartaigh.

Armagh & Ballyhegan’s Paddy McKeever was also invited to present the Under 16 & Minor League trophies to captains Stefen Forker and Conor Mackle. Guests of honour on the night included members of the Armagh 1953 All-Ireland Finalists and MC for the night was Jimmy Symth.

Everyone who organised a table for the Dinner Dance is asked to have ALL ticket money in by this weekend at the very latest. Money can be left with John Robinson, Joe Nugent or Noleen Rafferty or left in an envelope behind the bar in the social club. Please put your name and the names of those at your table on the outside of the envelope.
