Maghery celebrate 100 years

Maghery Sean McDermott’s GAC are holding their Centenary Celebration Gala Dinner in the Armagh City Hotel on November 4 at 6.30pm.

2002 All-Ireland winner Benny Tierney will be speaking, and former GAA president Sean Kelly and Tyrone manager Mickey Harte will also be in attendance.

Comedian Franky Forde provides the entertainment, with music from the Hanna Sisters and Cream O’ the Barley.

Tickets are on sale now from the club committees, corporate tables are available, with OAP, student and youth tickets also available to paid up members.

All proceeds will go towards the completion of Felix Hamill Park, and improving the facilities that already exist, and the club ask that all club members, past and present, make an effort to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.
