Coney Island lies 1km offshore from Maghery and is the only remaining
inhabited island on Lough Neagh. It has a rich history reaching back to the time
of St. Patrick. There are two footpaths around the shore of the Island with some
interesting things to see, both historical and natural. Boat trips to the Island
from Maghery Country Park are often available at weekends during the summer
months.
